Rome: A new friend

You know when you have a great friend but you never find time to see her/him? Well, life’s so busy lately, work is killing me and money’s too short (and all that amount of standard excuses)… However, the feeling when you finally manage to visit this person and you both spend such an amazing day together is so good that it already means the ticket to coming back.

This is Rome. And she’s turning out to be a very good friend.

Work commitments brought me to her arms last week. It was only for a few hours – some gossips, walks and drinks together – but enough to settle down all that longing we’ve been feeling since the last time.

As usual, she was smiling.

See the other times we’ve met here and here.

  1. Just loved the way you have introduced your new friend 🙂

It’s always a treat to see a series of images from you in one post, frankly, Paula 🙂

“The beam of light through the opening in the dome” and the “post cards for sale” are my favs. from this collection.

    Have a beautiful day 🙂

  2. It’s exciting in a new city and your lovely photos show it. I can’t wait to write your story. I see you are following me at last. I hope you find something interesting in jamoroki to keep you out of trouble. James

    1. Hi James, good to have you here. I could swear I was following you already – unfortunately I wasn’t. I was scrolling through your blog to see the other interviews and I simply love it. For sure it’s gonna bring me good moments – I’ve had enough trouble already 🙂 Thank you!

  3. What an uplifting post with which to start my day Thatiana. I feel like I’ve had a brief but joyous visit with your special friend. Thanks for the great photo gallery but particularly the gelato!! Best wishes as always 🙂
